Captain Sam spent his childhood fishing the waters surrounding Boca Grande and Little Gasparilla Island with his family and friends.
One of Sam's most fond memories is spending the day fishing the trestle that used to bring the train to Boca Grande. He would spend all day catching snook and redfish, only returning home at sunset.
He is a live bait fisherman who specializes in fishing the back bays of Charlotte Harbor for snook, redfish and trout. He guides out of a 24 ft. Avenger and can take up to 4 guests at a time.
*Captain Sam was featured on the cover of the Florida Sportsman magazine in January of 1999.
